Blaze Pizza has fired up its ovens in Bahrain as the US chain, famous for its build-your-own artisanal offerings, rolled out its first outlet at The Avenues with a tasting session for members of the media and other invited guests.
Chief culinary officer Bradford Kent, one of the founders of the franchise and a man dubbed ‘the pizza whisperer’ in some quarters due to the critical acclaim of his thin crust creations, was on hand to inaugurate the restaurant and showcase the ingredients.
Blaze Pizza is famous for its made-from-scratch dough crafted in-house daily, premium meats and fresh vegetables. Customers can customise their pizzas however they like, with as many toppings as they want, and the price will remain the same, BD3. Their design is then finished in an open flame over which cooks pizzas in 180 seconds flat.
Healthy choices such as salads, vegetarian pizzas and gluten-free dough are also available alongside a selection of drinks.
Blaze Pizza has 300 outlets globally, mostly within the US and Canada. However, it has been brought to the Middle East, first in Kuwait, then UAE and now Bahrain, by the Alshaya Group.
