Members of the media were invited to experience the world of chocolate with a mini tour of the chocolate and gelato lab of the recently-opened Cioccolati Italiani at City Centre Bahrain.
Cioccolati Italiani was founded in 2009 by Giovanni Ferrieri and his family in Milan and has developed ‘chocology’, the art of mixing chocolate with gelato, coffee and pastries.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony was staged on Sunday by Italian ambassador to Bahrain Domenico Bellato who was welcomed by Yasmina Nouali, director of food and beverage operations, and other executives.
The company has opened international franchises in neighbouring Kuwait and Saudi Arabia too and this is its first in Bahrain.
