CHAOSS will be hosting its popular in-house competition this Friday in which nearly 100 enthusiasts ranging in age from three to 13 will be showcasing their skills.
The event is aimed at providing even those newest to the sport with their first taste of a gymnastics contest and provide them with an opportunity to step onto the podium.
The foundation level starts with three disciplines (vault, bars and floor) in which the youngsters will be required to demonstrate basic skills while the more experienced (up to FIG Level 2) will add the beam to their repertoire and be asked to link their skills into a routine co-ordinated to music.
Six boys aged between five and seven will be competing at USAG level 3 and add the parallel bars and rings to the floor and vault.
Cara Mathis, founder and owner of CHAOSS, said: “It is a real pleasure to be hosting our in-house competition again.”
The action takes place at CHOASS gym near the Alosra roundabout in Saar starting at 8am.
