The Ritz-Carlton Bahrain is helping its guests and members stay fit and healthy throughout the summer by unveiling its new state-of-the-art Royal Beach Club fitness facility with a glitzy private reception.

The addition is part of the second phase of the resort’s renovations, following the one done of the mixed-gym facilities in November last year and features a fitted Bose sounds system, with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the private beachfront and lagoon.

Members and guests enjoyed appetisers and beverages as rendering of the final phase of the enhancements were on display, including a new indoor pool and locker facilities. The new studio, measuring 150sqm, will be open to Royal Beach Club members and hotel guests and will offer daily classes, including yoga, Pilates, spinning, TRX and much more.

The five-star hotel’s general manager Bernard de Villele said: “We are excited to open this facility to our members and guests. Some excellent trainers will be leading these classes. We invite everyone to come check it out and stay tuned for the final phase of renovations.”

The club also offers marina and wellness amenities including a jogging trail, tennis and squash courts, beach volleyball, temperature-controlled indoor and outdoor pools, a hammam, Pearl 1 boating and kids’ activities.

The facility is open daily from 5:30am to 10:30pm and non-members can purchase a Summer Day Pass which includes a lunch buffet at La Med, starting at BD29 for adults and BD14 for children (16 and under). Weekend day passes start at BD50 for adults and BD25 for children.
