Bahrain is gearing up for the official grand opening of the largest beach clubhouse in the Gulf region, as the Reef Island makes room for the Reef Clubhouse & Lagoon Beach with a breath-taking view and facilities unseen anywhere else in the kingdom.
Developed by Lulu Tourism Company, the same organisation that developed and owns most properties on the island, the Reef Clubhouse and Lagoon Beach cost BHD82million and brings with it the same sense of sea, style, serenity and attention to detail for which the master developer has become known.
GulfWeekly visited the property to get the first exclusive media tour and chat with the team about what is in store for visitors, guests and members. The clubhouse has several main components – the beach, spa and fitness centre, in addition to a unique collection of culinary options.
The beach is 75,476sqm bordering the North Lagoon and South Lagoon, each with its own food offerings and recreation as well as beach-side tents. With the sun-kissed shore of the lagoon, it is difficult to see why anyone would ever want to leave the property, which is planning to enter the Guinness Book of World Records and make Bahrain even more prominent on the global map.
