Luxury Turkish street-wear label Les Benjamins puts an edgy twist on outdoor sports equipment and brings it into fashion form with its autumn and winter collection.

This season, Bunyamin Aydin, the brand’s creative director, draws his inspiration from Machu Pichu and the Sacred Valley in Peru to design a high-tech and hiking infused ready-to-wear collection.

Bunyamin, who explores travel and culture photography and consistently references subcultures in his signature style placement prints, is implementing the brand’s new camera rangefinder logo throughout the collection. This line, for its part, stands out with a series of designs and pictographs etched into the ground of the Nazca Desert Sands.

The designers transformed casual and sophisticated elements into new hybrid pieces flooded with outdoor-inspired highlights that come with an unprecedented sense of ergonomics and style. The multi-layering in the collection is de facto inspired by the architecture of the Machu Pichu.

Bunyamin’s streetwear silhouettes have evolved into more engineered and un-conformist outdoor looks featuring mixed media tech fabrications with natural wools and French terry fleece. The detailing is as eye-catching as it is functional and is bordered off with reflector tapes for safety throughout the winter elements.

Other cool features added to clothing and fabrics include draw cords, magnetic closure pocket flaps, carabiner zip pulls and two-in-one raised neck hood details. Bold and utilitarian accessories, such as harness and holster bags, mini belt pouches, as well as gauge wool socks, polar gloves, calf and head warmers, neck gaiters, camping caps, and felt hats finish off the looks.

The colour palette for the collection is both vibrant and introspective, boasting a mix of earth tones such as rust, earth vizon, clay, and grey. The line also includes galaxy hues of midnight black, neon orange, starlight green and Milky Way purple.

The collection can be found in high-end luxury boutiques in Bahrain and Dubai as well as online.
