The French Embassy is organizing a Virtual Realit exhibition at Alliance Française on Friday from 4 to 8 pm and on Saturday from 11 am to 4 pm. The exhibition will feature French 360° movies and interactive games/stories in virtual reality. Contents produced by Bahraini students will also be displayed. Plus, these students will be preparing a special virtual reality creation on the theme of the exhibition, linking the city of Paris to the city of Manama. Creations from other Bahrain and GCC artists, including Nayla Alkhalifa, will be exhibited.
Following the exhibition, a masterclass, open to creators, producers and broadcasters will be held on the Saturday from 4 to 6 pm. Charles Ayats, a French VR specialist and the creator of “the Scream VR”, an artwork which explores the famous painting of Edvard Munch, will be conducting the class. For details, contact 17298625
