Motoring enthusiasts interested in putting their vehicles through its paces in a world-class racing facility can enjoy Bahrain International Circuit’s (BIC) thrilling turns and corners during its popular Open Track Day, set for December 27.

Speed demons can have a fun Friday in Sakhir pushing their cars or bikes to the limit in a safe and controlled environment.

Aspiring racers are expected to uphold their driving etiquette on the 5.412km Grand Prix Track, with no close or aggressive overtaking involved.

Overtaking is by invitation between corners and driving is monitored, with poor or dangerous driving dealt with swiftly by officials.

Friday’s Open Track Day will be scheduled from 4pm until 11pm and registration is from 8am onwards. It is priced at BD94.500 for a full day (six sessions) and BD68.500 for a half day (three sessions). There is also an option of a single session for BD31.500 (30 minutes).

Also set to be held as part of the Open Track Day is the Jaguar Experience for BD63 (one hour).
