Chronoswiss’s latest timepiece aims to set watch enthusiasts hearts into overdrive. The Regulator Classic Carbon Racer evokes a Formula 1 feel with its automotive-inspired elements and just in time for the 2020 Grand Prix season.
Its distinctive stainless steel case, high-tech carbon mesh dial and the look of a speedometer simply cry out “speed”.
The new model brings together the colours typically associated with motor sport which are racing red, white and black carbon. The design is reminiscent of a speedometer, with the power red hand in the style of a gauge needle. The triangular shape of the hour and minute hands can be perfectly read in the dark thanks to luminous Super-LumiNova inlays. The guilloché pattern on the dial is also unconventional. Centuries-old regal craftsmanship of guilloché is fused here with ultra-thin carbon from the premier class of motor sport.
The case back is sapphire crystal through which you can see the beating heart of the watch. There is also a skeletonised second’s dial visually inspired by the design of a racing car rim. The high-performance engine of the watch is its automatic C.295 caliber with a power reserve of more than 40 hours. Its sturdy case and water resistance to 10 bar (100 m) make the Regulator Classic Carbon Racer the ideal timepiece for every occasion – even off the track.
