Sparks of celebration erupted around Bahrain as the kingdom rung in 2023 and bid farewell to 2022. The New Year’s Eve celebrations featured a spectacular show of fireworks at four locations – Avenues Park, Marassi Beach, Water Garden City, and Harbour Row.
The countdown at Avenues Park featured drone shows, live performances and local DJs, while Marassi Beach hosted fire dancers, a sand art show and musical acts.
Entertainment at the Water Garden City included Bohemian-style Nights with live music, a drumming circle, hand pans, art and craft workshops as well as yoga.
Al Dana Amphitheatre also waved off 2022 in style with a line-up of world-class musical acts.
