Fans of classic cars can gear up for a new show that explores car restoration by turning ‘junkers’ into jewels.

Tex Mex Motors, set to be released on Friday, June 9 on Netflix, follows a team of talented mechanics who find cheap classic cars in Mexico’s junkyards, and then bring them to their garage in El Paso, Texas, in the US, to bring them back to life.

Rob Pitts aka Rabbit is driving the show, building on a veritable track record of automobile expertise.

Rabbit has bought and sold thousands of cars all over the USA and runs a YouTube channel educating others about the art and science of collecting classics.

In each episode of Tex Mex Motors, the team takes on a new project. They source classic cars from all over Mexico, and then they bring them back to the shop to be restored. The team has a wide range of skills, and work on everything from classic muscle cars to vintage trucks.

Of course, like any good reality show, there is drama and challenges. The team has to deal with tight deadlines, difficult clients, and even a few unexpected setbacks.
