In a spin on the typical zombie format, Japanese film Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead focuses on a corporate drone who is inspired by the apocalypse to finally feel alive.
After all, as Akira (Eiji Akaso) sees it, surviving a zombie apocalypse beats being a wage slave any day.
When the apocalypse begins, Akira embarks on a mission to complete all 100 items on his bucket list before he... well, kicks the bucket.
Directed by Yûsuke Ishida, this film is based on a Japanese manga of the same name by Haro Aso which was adapted into an anime which premiered last month. The new comedy action thriller has been written by Haro, Tatsuro Mishima and Kotaro Takata.
