A TRAILER and poster were released for the upcoming action-thriller The Bricklayer, set to be released early next year.
Starring Aaron Eckhart, the movie is based on a novel of the same name, written by former FBI agent Paul Lindsay.
The film follows ‘a rogue insurgent blackmailing the CIA by assassinating foreign journalists and making it appear the agency is responsible’, read the official synopsis of the film.
One of the CIA’s most skilled operatives Steve Vail, played by Eckhart, is called up, even though he is in retirement, to clear the agency’s name. He uncovers an international conspiracy.
Directed by the most successful Finnish film director in the history of Hollywood, Renny Harlin, the film includes stars such as Nina Dobrev, Aaron Eckhart and Clifton Collins Jr.
The Bricklayer is set to premiere on January 5.
