Racing fever is gripping the world and to give fans a recap on the last season and insight into the rivalries for this year, the latest season of Drive to Survive is set to land on Netflix this Friday.

The sixth season will be released in one go on February 23, which will also mark the final day of pre-season testing at the Bahrain International Circuit.

James Gay-Rees, who produced Academy Award-winning documentary Senna, serves as executive producer alongside Paul Martin – who produced the 2019 documentary Diego Maradona.

The latest series of the popular show will again take fans behind the scenes and relive the action – both on and off the track – from the 2023 F1 season, with footage and contributions from some of the key figures in the sport.

Last season was dominated by Max Verstappen, with the Red Bull driver winning 19 out of 22 races. The Dutchman – who refused to appear in series four at protest over the various narratives the series produces – is set to appear this season, alongside teammate Sergio Perez and boss Christian Horner.

Other memorable moments which are likely to feature include Daniel Ricciardo’s mid-season return to AlphaTauri, replacing Nyck de Vries, as well as Ferrari’s sole victory thanks to Carlos Sainz at the Singapore Grand Prix last September.

Team clashes and crashes often play a role in the series too and Mercedes pair Lewis Hamilton and George Russell, who crashed in Qatar, and the Alpine duo Esteban Ocon and Pierre Gasly’s collision in Australia, will probably be examined.
