POP singer Normani Kordei Hamilton aka Normani is finally boosting her fans up as she is set to release her long-anticipated debut album Dopamine tomorrow. The album’s release marks nearly five years since her debut single Motivation in August 2019. The singer began teasing the LP (long play) in 2018, revealing on social media that she had the title ready, however, she only announced it alongside the cover in February this year. In a recent interview, Normani acknowledges the sweet time she took to release the creation, and expresses her appreciation of her fans for being patient. The singer also reveals that she spent the past five years revisiting the album ‘four or five times’. “I could’ve put three albums out by now in that duration. I’m not oblivious to that. But I felt like I owed it to myself to be able to take my time, and reinvent, and be experimental.” she said.

The 28-year-old American singer rose to fame for her contributions with the girl group Fifth Harmony, which was formed in 2012 by reality show The X Factor’s judges. Alongside Normani, the group consisted of Ally Brooke, Dinah Jane, Lauren Jauregui, and Camella Cabello who left the gang in December of 2016. In 2018, the troupe announced its indefinite hiatus, as the members aimed to pursue solo projects.
