FUN and exciting workshops covering a range of activities are back at Al Jasra Handicrafts Centre, organised by the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (Baca).
A Copper Shaping Workshop will teach participants about the types of copper and their properties. They will see copper artworks and learn about the methods of forming and working on the metal, as well as copper embossing.
The workshop will take place on Sunday and Monday (June 23 and 24) from 4pm to 7pm for those aged 18 and above.
A Rope Carpet Making Workshop will introduce participants to the innovative methods in rug design, especially multi-coloured rope winding techniques. They will learn rope shaping and ways to make two carpet pieces.
The workshop will take place on Tuesday and Wednesday (June 25 and 26), from 4pm to 7pm for those aged 14 and above.
