HOLIDAY variety music special A Nonsense Christmas with Sabrina Carpenter premiers on Netflix tomorrow.
The creative talent is set to perform songs from her festive EP (extended play) Fruitcake, released last year, as well as other iconic songs.
The one-hour-special will feature performances by guest artists, including Chappel Roan, Shania Twain, Tyla, Kali Uchis, and more.
“The holidays have always been so special to me. I am excited to bring my take to a classic holiday variety show, infusing my love of music and comedy to make something that is uniquely me,” Sabrina said in an interview.
“It’s an hour of literal nonsense, if people are expecting boring, me singing by a tree, it’s not that. It’s so fun, so chaotic,” she added.
The creative talent released her sixth album Short n’ Sweet earlier this year, which debuted at number one on Billboard 200 and was received with critical acclaim, earning the singer six nominations for the 2025 Grammy Awards.
Producer of the album Jack Antonoff commended the singer for the way she weaves humour into her song-writing, which is something that she is most known for.
