In a world full of insecurities, it is common to have anxieties, which can trigger panic attacks, causing physical and psychological symptoms, making it gruelling to carry on normal everyday activities. Eating healthy food, pursuing a hobby, and keeping aside some ‘me time’, can bolster resilience, optimism and quality of life.

Making a bucket list is an opportunity to live life to the fullest, giving a purpose for the future. Consider each day of your life to be a blank canvas, and paint a unique day for yourself every day, making your life enriching and wondrous!

In today’s fast paced world, the concept of mental health has gained increased importance, specially in light of growing stress and societal pressure. A healthy body is one where resides a healthy mind. Mindfulness is a powerful tool that allows me to remain in the present moment, reducing anxiety and stress about future uncertainties. I will continue following these mindful practices like meditation, deep breathing etc. I will stick to my habit of noting down things I am grateful for. This helps me in shifting my focus from what’s lacking to what abundance I have in my life. I always consider myself like a proton. A proton can never lose its positivity nor can you. Stress sometimes can affect the outside, however, the inner core continues to radiate. Adding good books into my library and reading them will certainly be one of the major priorities. I will aim to plant as many trees as I can. Actually, for the past few years, I, with my son, have been planting trees, especially on our birthdays, anniversaries and major festivals. This gives us divine satisfaction and happiness. I will call my family and friends and talk to them. Last but not the least, I will go travelling with my family - my real strength, motivation and is always like a symphony, a trip where we create beautiful memories and strengthen our bonds.

As we approach this new calender year, I pondered how I can improve myself. I could only think of one thing which is to try to attain peace and contentment. Because peace and contentment gives you the strength to go through problems without going insane.

Peace and contentment are permanent state of your being, not a temporary feeling. But I also realise that I cannot be peaceful and content if my surrounding environment doesn’t support it. Hence it is my job and duty to improve things around me, for myself if not for others. I wish and invite all the readers to get onboard with me on this journey. I am sure that just striving to achieve this lofty goal will bring peace and contentment to our lives.

In 2025, I’m dedicated to prioritising my mental health by cultivating a balanced lifestyle that supports both personal growth and well-being. I will establish clear boundaries between work and personal life, ensuring ample time for relaxation, hobbies, and meaningful self-reflection.

By revisiting my bucket list and setting achievable goals, I aim to stay focused on what truly brings me joy and fulfillment. Consistent mindfulness practices, physical activity, and open communication with loved ones will be integral to my routine.

I’m committed to embracing self-care, fostering happiness, and maintaining a harmonious balance that nurtures my mental health and overall happiness.
