Synopsis: Titta has a dark secret. He’s a 50-year-old Sicilian, married with children, but he spends his life away from his family in a Swiss hotel, not working, smoking cigarettes and avoiding conversation. Every week a suitcase full of money arrives in his room and he delivers it to a bank. The rest of the time he is impassive and isolated. It’s only when Titta is forced to notice the pretty hotel barmaid Sofia that his life begins to take form again, with dangerous and devastating results.
