Claire Cassidy will be joining Chang Han Oh and Ahmed Sultan at the finals of the BMW Golf Cup International in Australia after winning a ladies section play-off against fellow Riffa Golf Club member Linda Boland.
The third annual “Captain’s Quaich” tournament staged at Riffa Golf Club was won by the Club’s 2006 Captain for the second consecutive year. Barry Hobday achieved a net score of 73 while current captain Peter Loubser came second with net 77.
The team of Jan McAlpine, Shy Higgins, Ann Hunter and Marjon Arends won a clear victory in this month’s Ritz Carlton Ladies Golf competition with a team score of 28.55.
