Masters champion Bubba Watson has opted to miss tomorrow’s elite Players Championship at Sawgrass to spend more time at home with his wife Angie and their recently adopted two-month-old son Caleb.
The Royal Golf Club marked the first anniversary of the death of golfing legend Seve Ballesteros with a memorial trophy competition last weekend on the Montogomerie championship course. The individual stableford event was won by Todd Graham with a score of 41 points. Valerie Ngo was second with 40 points while Claire Cassidy took third place with 39 points.
There were some stunning scores in the May competition of the Euro Motors BMW Monthly Medal at the Royal Golf Club with Ray Bruhn managing to squeeze past fellow member Ronan Armstrong to capture the division one title with a stunning net score of 67.
