I am sure we will get the same great response from all the residents here as we are getting in our other hypermarkets in other parts of Middle East. We will be investing BD25 million in Bahrain in different projects in next one year.” The 175,000 sq ft hypermarket will be one of the biggest hypermarkets in this (region) market with dedicated sections for different products categories right from vegetables, meats and poultry to household and non-food items to electronics to white goods to the biggest collection of readymade and ethnic dresses. The group, which has its own manufacturing and sourcing offices in almost all major markets of Asia, Far East and Africa, makes sure that the customers get the best and widest choice of products from around the world at very attractive prices. Taking this concept further, Lulu has launched its own brand of products in almost all categories which provides the shoppers with good quality product at a much lower price compared to the existing big brands. “Fully acknowledging the importance of generating employment opportunity for local youth, we have entered into an agreement with Bahrain’s Labour Ministry for giving employment to more than 150 Bahraini nationals in this project,” added Yusuffali.
