Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain
Exquisite culinary delights are in store for guests during the Holy month of Ramadan at Al Khayma, at the Ritz Carlton.

An Egyptian band will provide entertainment with traditional Arabic music in the evenings, which can be enjoyed over an enticing Iftar buffet, Gabgha, a choice of exotic shisha flavours and games of backgammon and chess.
Prices for weekdays (Saturday to Tuesday) for the Iftar Buffet and Gabgha buffet is BD12++ and for weekends (Wednesday to Friday) is BD15++. Rates for a Ramadan booth for six people will be BD100++.

Hawar Resort
Hawar Resort Hotel is providing fabulous winter offers for the upcoming Ramadan month. This value for money offer starts from BD22 per person (twin sharing), which includes a full board package with boat transfers during an overnight stay.
The resorts popular day trip packages are also available for BD12 per person. Thursday night packages begin from BD24 onwards.
The Hawar Resort can be easily accessed within 45 minutes from Al Dar jetty on main land Manama. The resort operates a fleet of speedboats that depart from Al Dar Jetty at various pre-scheduled times. Coach transfers can also be arranged from the Hawar Reservation office at the Marina Corniche.
Speedboats depart every morning at 10am from Al Dar and on Wednesday and Thursday boats depart at 10am and 2.30pm.
The reservation office located on the Marina Corniche between the dolphin park and the Marina Club is open every day from 8.30am to 8pm. For more information, call 17290377.
For Ramadan the office will operate between 8am and 4pm and 7pm and 10pm.

Aroma Cafe
The Aroma Café at Mesk Holdings has announced special offers for Ramadan. The café will remain open from 5pm to 3am during the Ramadan period. Guests can enjoy themselves with a wide selection of shisha, the Iftar buffet, Ghabga set menu and live entertainment.
The O’Briens’ Irish Sandwich Bar will also remain open, although the La Cave Restaurant and Bohemia Bistro Restaurant will remain closed for Ramadan.

Ramada Palace
The Ramada Palace Hotel is all set to open its tent on the first day of Ramadan.
Ramada Tent features four small family tents, two big family tents and a common tent with a capacity of 60 and above all with individual air-conditioning to ensure the comfort of guests. Each tent is tastefully decorated in traditional Arabian style and offers the perfect ambience to make your evening a memorable one.
Daily Iftar is served at the Al Arz Lebanese speciality restaurant located in the hotel lobby priced at BD3.500.
Guests can savour a wide range of Arabic dishes including hot and cold mezza, salads main dishes and mouth-watering Iftar dessert and juices.

Ramada Bahrain
Ramada Hotel Bahrain is preparing for special meals and offers at its dining outlets this Ramadan period.
Recognised for its signature hospitality and service, the Le Jardin Restaurant is serving a lavish Iftar buffet from sunset onwards.  Priced at BD5.500 (net) the spread includes starters like hummus, tabouleh, vine leaves and fatoosh, among others.
From 8pm onwards, Le Jardin will serve an international buffet with Mediterranean, Italian and Far Eastern delights on the menu. The meal is priced at BD8.
The Lobby Café is open from sunset where guests can enjoy their favourite coffees, teas and juices, along with delicate pastries and cakes.  The Lobby Café will also be featuring special Eid cakes towards the end of Ramadan.
The Exchange Restaurant and Pub will be closed through Ramadan opening for the first day of Eid, with a new live band.
In keeping with the festivities, Ramada Hotel Bahrain is also making its services available for private functions at home, at the Le Jardin Restaurant or at any of the hotel’s conference rooms.

Mövenpick Bahrain
Mövenpick Hotel Bahrain has a pleasant Ramadan surprise for all food-lovers right before the start of the holy month. The hotel has just appointed Chef Wissam Georges Azar, an expert in Lebanese and authentic Iranian cuisine as Junior Sous Chef.
Wissam has worked with the leading five-star hotel chains in the Gulf and Lebanon and is all set to launch an authentic Iftar buffet which will be on offer every evening in the Silk’s restaurant at the Mövenpick.
At the Iftar buffet in Silk’s, guests can have a true taste of Arabian cuisine with a spread that includes bamia bil lahme, chicken ali nazek, thyread al laham, al harees, khouzi and grilled hamour kebab. Popular are the live stations for pasta, shawarama and falafel and the dessert delicacies like khanfarosh, kalaief, date cake, umm ali and more. Hot and cold beverages are complemented with traditional fruit drinks like karkadi, laban, tama hindi and qamar al-den.
The hotel is also promoting “special group ghabgas” in the newly opened Al Murjan ballroom. The special ghabga party can be organised for any company, club or group of over 100 people.
While Chef Ala’a, specially trained in authentic Arabian cuisine in Lebanon, will also showcase his culinary expertise in Arabian cuisine during Iftar at the Silk’s restaurant, its Bahraini lady chef Annam who will add the much sought after local touch to the fine buffet.

Sheraton Bahrain
Al Safir Restaurant, Sheraton Bahrain’s International all-day dining restaurant, will feature a spread of buffet this Ramadan for breakfast, lunch and Iftar.
The restaurant has the following schedule for the Holy month: Buffet breakfast from 6.30am to 10.30am for BD6.500++ per person; International buffet lunch from 12.30pm to 3.30pm for BD9.900++ per person; Iftar buffet from 5pm to 8.30pm for BD8.500++ per person; A La Carte menu available from 11.30am to 11.30pm.
Special Iftar offers include dine for six and pay for five persons. Also, corporate accounts enjoy a 15 per cent discount with a minimum of 50 confirmed people. For reservations, call at 17 533533.
