What kind of a man would force his family of 14 to live homeless on the street for seven months when he is more than capable of supporting them and putting a roof over their heads?
Twelve children ranging from one to 18 years of age have had to live in a wooden shack with no water, electricity and air-conditioning.
Why? Because the man of the shack who already owns two houses and a boat and receives a generous pension from the BDF has got it into his head that the government owes him a house in a different area, based on the fact that he used to own land there 25 years ago.
Anywhere else, this man would have his children taken away from him for neglect and he would be under investigation for child abuse and failing to provide them with an education. How can he possibly be allowed to get away with putting his children through such an ordeal?
