Al Saraya Properties Corporation recently celebrated its success in the year 2006 with the launch of a number of developments, at a press conference at the Hawar Ballroom in Novotel Al Dana Resort.

Within the Amwaj Islands, Al Saraya has development projects that include Safeena, Loft, Lagoona, Saraya Al Bahar, Al Marsa Floating City, Meena 7 and Mirage towns 1 and 2. Developments within the mainland area include Saraya Sanad and Saraya Buquwah. Amongst these, the Mirage 1 and 2 were an instant hit and work has already begun on Mirage 3. Saraya Al Bahar and the Floating City projects were also instantly sold out.
“Al Saraya believes in its brand image and we are confident in our choice of developments. We are currently seeking to penetrate into the Eastern European market. Al Saraya plans to adapt a more international development strategy over the coming years,” said Yasser Ali Al Sharrah, general manager of Al Saraya Properties Corporation.
During the course of 2007, Al Saraya is set to launch a number of cutting-edge developments including Dragon, Faye Beach, Orca, Palm Beach and Mirage 3 as well as a shopping mall in Meena 7 and a hotel on the Amwaj Islands. The main focus for the year 2007 remains on the mainland projects Saraya Al Basateen and Saraya Yasmeen.
The group is also eyeing markets outside Bahrain and has seen great opportunities to capitalise in parts of Romania, Bulgaria and Ukraine as well as in other countries in the region.
“Through our innovative vision and creative ventures, Al Saraya has managed to garner a significant amount of goodwill in Bahrain’s real estate market. All our projects have received phenomenal feedback from our customers and investors.
I am confident that we will continue to create such exemplary residential developments for generations to come,” said Hussain Hubail,
marketing manager, Al Saraya Properties.
Overlooking various complaints of water and electricity shortage at the Amwaj Islands, residents have started moving into Mirage 1 and 2 as well as the Al Marsa Floating City.
“We had problems with electricity and water earlier because the Amwaj Islands had no fixed address line to give to the authorities. But that is in the past now and residents have started moving in already,” explained Al Sharrah.
Al Saraya Properties Corporation was set up in 1999 as a land developing company. It has since come a long way in providing locals and expatriates alike with some of the best housing facilities in the Kingdom.
“Our customers and investors, alike, are extremely content people. We have been receiving wonderful response from both. In fact, one investor has already paid for a project of ours that is still being planned! This is the kind of trust that people have in us,” adds Al Sharrah.
