A jewellery exhibition featuring the work of eight British artists is now open at Seef Mall (new expansion area).

Alchemy: Contemporary Jewellery from Britain is organised by the British Council and specially curated for the Middle East. Alchemy has been curated by Alison Moloney and Dana Andrew. The exhibited jewellers are Solange Azagury-Partridge, Naomi Filmer, Tanvi Kant, Andrew Lamb, Shaun Leane, Lina Peterson, Laura Potter and Scott Wilson. Alongside the exhibition, the British Council and Damas have o rganised jewellery workshops for adult jewellery designers called Traditional Skills for Contemporary Practice. Run by Damas, nine Bahraini jewellery enthusiasts will attend design workshops and create their own jewellery. The exhibition is open to the public until April 24.

The Riffa vews hosted the Awali Ladies Hospitality Group Activity morning at the Riffa Golf Club. The ladies viewed the show houses and were served breakfast and were invited to a golf clinic. Present were chairwoman Fatima Al Ansari and committee members Zarah Mirza, Amina Hassan, Sylvanna Nassif, Satee Gill, Syeda Mohammed and Alfre Linton.

Bahrain-based public relations and event management company T&M EVENTSCOM held its annual all-day company meeting at the Mercure Hotel, Seef. Chaired by the company's founder and managing director Zahraa Taher, it included interactive team challenges, brainstorm sessions and discussions on strategy. “It is very important, especially in such a close-knit corporate environment, to involve all staff in the company's
development,” said Ms Taher.
