More than 300 people turned out to enjoy a taste of the outdoors at the Royal Society of St George traditional English picnic.
It was held at the American Express Bahrain Rugby Football Club, where barbecue facilities were also available. Families were entertained by DJ and master of ceremonies Krazy Kevin, the Bahrain Police Band and the Dilmun Dixie Landers jazz band. A major attraction was the traditional Easter Bonnet Parade. Youngsters were kept busy with an Easter egg hunt, magic show, bouncy castle and balloon twister. The event raised more than BD1,500 for local charities.
