Reigning Miss India World 2007, Sarah Jane Dias will attend the Indian Club May Queen’s Ball 2007.

Ms Dias will be among the special guests, while reigning May Queen, Filipina Elaine Quitevis (pictured above in the centre) will crown the winner. Ms Dias who is representing India in this year’s Miss World competition is a former Gulf resident having lived in Oman – where she was proclaimed Miss India Oman in 1997.
The May Queen will see 16 women of various nationalities, competing for the crown. The event will be held at the club’s premises in Manama from 8pm. The competition which is open to women of all nationalities aged between 15 and 28 has been held yearly for three decades has become one of the most prestigious events in Bahrain.
All contestants will go through a “grooming session” to be conducted by show choreographer Shamima Noorani.
The contest will consist of three rounds of catwalk, ethnic wear, party wear and smart casual wear. An array of prizes will be presented to the May Queen 2007 and the event will also feature a live performance by Aryan Fame.
There will also be prizes for the first and second runners up, as well as the winners of “Best Smile”, “Best Hairdo” and “Best Catwalk”.
