If films like “Flash Dance” featuring Jennifer Beals and “Shall We Dance” with Richard Gere and J Lo leave you wishing you could move on the dance floor… with the same passion and grace as them, then why not dare yourself to join the latest challenge at the Sampaguita Club, in Moon Plaza Hotel in Umm Al Hassam.
Beginners are invited to join the Dancescape 2007 contest due to be held later this year at the popular dance club.
Lessons are provided by professional dance instructors and on a weekly basis. The grand finale will be held in September. The contest requires couples to present three dance routines, namely samba, rumba and cha cha. The winners will receive cash prizes and certificates. Practice sessions are held nightly with professional dance instructor Jappy Fernandez from 7pm onwards.
