New committees for Bahrain Keraleeya Samajam (BKS) women’s wing and children’s wing for 2007-2008 were inducted at a ceremony at the BKS auditorium, Manama.
The women’s wing comprises convener Anu Manoj, members Smitha Girish, Jolly Jose, Indra Pavithran, Jolly Rajan Varghese, Noorjahan Siraj and Geetha Janardhan. The children’s wing includes president Farah Sirajudeen, vice-president Fawaz Jaleel, secretary Sushmitha Somanathan, assistant general secretary Neethi Joshua and members Abhijit Dharmarajan, Radhika Radhakrishnan, Sabari Pratab, Reshma G Nair, Radhika Madhu, Vishnu Ajaykumar, Renjini Radhakrishnan, Srikanth Satheesh and Nithin Janardhanan. Renowned Indian film director Lenin Rajendran was the chief guest at the event, which featured a musical presentation entitled Monsoon Waves by Jaya Menon.
