THE Dreamflight Charity Golf Day was held at Riffa Golf Club.
The threesome of Rick Hillson, Paul Chader and Warren Hill won with a score of 56.80. The second placed team comprised of Don Warren, John McIsaac, Iain Smith and Andrew Nelson achieved a score of 57.50.
Prizes were sponsored by Bahrain Duty Free, Riffa Views, Riffa Golf Club, Berlitz, Ritz-Carlton Bahrain Hotel & Spa, Diplomat Radisson SAS Hotel, Gulf Hotel, Sheraton Hotel and Jim’s Restaurant.
The Texas Scramble competition raised a total of BD1,010 for the Dreamflight charity and the money will be used to help send two seriously-ill Bahraini children on a Dreamflight holiday of a lifetime.
Deborah Beedie, the Dreamflight Bahrain co-ordinator presented prizes to the winners in a ceremony held in the Club’s Braids restaurant.
