Dear Stan,
The British Council is running a photography competition on the theme of Climate Change and we’ll be giving away not one but two 7Megapixel cameras!
Please can you let all your readers know that tomorrow Thursday (21 June) is the final deadline to enter the competition. It’s open to all Bahrain residents over 13 years of age – so think green and say ‘cheese’!

Dear Stan,
I would just like to thank you for the recent article by Anasuya Kesavan regarding the British School of Bahrain's annual Art Exhibition. The spread was very favourable and really captured the spirit of the school's art department in terms of its working practices and ethos.
The photographs by Roy Mathews clearly displayed the work in its best light and the background research on our students was thorough and accurate. Mr Frost, our principal, remarked that it was one of the best articles he had ever seen and was very happy at the coverage.
Once again thank you.

Head of Art.
Dear Stan,
I was very impressed with GulfWeekly and particularly enjoyed reading Shilpa Chandran’s feature on the majestic wings
of Arabia.
It must be quite a task to obtain enough content to maintain the quality and readability of the paper, particularly after all those complimentary letters to the editor.

Dear Stan,
I loved the write up on belly dancing in the GulfWeekly. I have just got back from a trip to Turkey where I was inspired to learn but it has been difficult finding a good teacher, especially at this time of year.

Dear Stan,
Please allow me to air my views on GulfWeekly. I am one of your keen readers, always looking forward to receiving my copy every Wednesday.
However, I have observed that you now have too many beauty related articles.
I believe there are more relevant issues to be addressed. Let me assure you that I don't have anything against beauty tips. There might be those who spend their whole day trying to be that perfect and well turned out and I do admire them.
Nonetheless, there are already far too many magazines dedicated to beauty and women in general.
Regards,
Faith
