IN an interview with NBC’s Matt Laurer, Princes William and Harry have admitted that they will forever be in doubt as to what really happened to their mother on that fateful night in the French tunnel.
As far as I know there are only two theories being bandied about; there are those that believe the Press chased the car into a wall, while conspiracy theorists believe that the royal family put a hit out on her and the crash was the result of some plot to stop her from marrying and having Dodi Al Fayed’s baby.
I’ve never really been one for conspiracy theories so the very idea that the princes themselves have doubts as to the truth is somewhat of a shocker.
I can’t imagine what it must be like to live in constant doubt as to whether or not someone in your family was responsible for the death of your own mother but I suspect if that were the case you’d separate yourself as much as possible from the suspects – in this case, father, grandmother and grandfather.
They haven’t, so if they don’t believe it was the Press and they don’t believe it was a hit, what do they believe and why do they believe it?
The plot thickens! (Cue Dr. Evil-style spooky laughter).
