You have to wonder at the advances in modern medicine! It seems that back in 1994, the US Air Force considered using a “Gay Bomb”.
According to a recent report, they were going to use a spray to turn the enemy gay.
Documents released to a biological weapons watchdog in Austin, Texas claim that the air force considered releasing a chemical on their enemies that would have them concentrate more on their attraction to each other than the threat posed by their enemies.
The idea being that strong chemical aphrodisiacs would be sprayed on the enemy, with the intention of turning them gay, thus resulting in them lusting uncontrollably after their fellow comrades instead of fighting the opposing force.
An ingenious idea if ever I heard one but the thought that you could turn someone gay by exposing them to some kind chemical still seems a little far fetched to me!
Crossing the Atlantic, in other drug-related news; as soon as 2008, the UK could be starting a pilot scheme whereby convicted paedophiles will be given drugs to suppress their libidos.
There’s no doubt that it’s a step in the right direction and that it might in some small measure help reduce the number of child abuse cases but why spend the tax-payer’s money on chemical castration when plain old castration could do the job far more efficiently?
I say chop it off and be done with it! Not only will there be no chance of a repeat performance for those that are caught, it will also be a powerful deterrent to anyone considering molesting a child.
Paedophiles are sick people and only a seriously permanent punishment is going to serve as a prevention!
