Womanspeak is a female-to-male dictionary, aimed at enlightening the male population on what a woman means when she says…

‘What women want’
With our illustrious leader’s wedding anniversary this week, Mr. The Man wanted to know why a counterfeit handbag wouldn’t do the trick and why it had to be the genuine article, or no deal.
This one is actually very simple to answer and comes in two parts.
Firstly, the amount of money you spend is directly proportionate to how much she means to you.
If you only spend BD10 on a knock off, you’re telling her she’s only worth the cheapest you can find.
Secondly, however good a knockoff you find any woman worth her Gucci can tell the difference so sending your woman off with a fake only tells her friends that you’re cheap and want your woman to look cheap too.
If you can’t afford the real deal than buy her something thoughtful in your price range.
Any good woman would rather be given a less expensive present that says “I love you” than a cheap knock off that says “Our relationship is cut-price”.
And if she’s a gold-digger then you’re better off without her.
