Gulf Weekly Businessman receives Labour Fund delegates

Yousif Khalil Almoayyed (YKA) chairman Farouk Yousif Almoayyed received the Labour Fund’s delegation led by Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Labour Fund chairman Dr Nezar bin Sadiq Al Baharna in YKA offices in Manama Suq. 

 

They reviewed and discussed the Labour Fund’s strategy, objectives and initiatives and the private sector’s labour market expectations from the point of view of Y K Almoayyed Group.

 

Participating in the discussions were Labour Fund’s vice-chairman Sharif Ahmadi, board member Adel Mattar, acting chief executive Abdulellah Al Qassimi and marketing communications manager Hala Sulaiman. 

 

Present from Y K Almoayyed Group were managing director Hela Farouk Almoayyed, assistant human resources manager Fadhel Al Mahdi, head of HR and administration at Almoayyed Contracting Group Basem Ahmed, and group human resources manager Roy Mathew Kovoor.

 

Mr Al Baharna outlined the Labour Fund’s strategy in supporting Bahrain’s private sector and raising the standards of Bahraini citizens to become “the employees of choice”. 

 

The Labour Fund delegation confirmed the Labour Fund’s plans and efforts to introduce training and developmental programmes to prepare the Bahrainis for skilled and well paid jobs in order to actively participate in the labour market and to meet the private sector’s needs and demands.

 

On this occasion, Mr Almoayyed talked about the employment and training efforts at Y K Almoayyed’s group level which includes an annual programme whereupon a group of Bahrainis are sponsored to continue their high education and are placed in jobs within the group.
