BAHRAIN’s tallest residential building is to be built in the Seef District at a cost of BD43.47 million.
The 50-storey Era Tower is being built by Bahrain-based real estate development company Era Projects.
Covering a built-up area of 77,792 square metres, Era Tower includes around 400 flats with one, two and three bedrooms.
“We have already sold 78 apartments in the pre-launch sale,” Landmark (Era Tower marketing associate) director Mohammed Younis Shafi said. “We expect the rest to be sold within a year.”
Era is planning to break ground before the end of the year to deliver the project by 2010.
“We are hoping to start construction at the beginning of January, it will take about 30 to 31 months to build,” added Mr Shafi.
Facilities offered by Era Tower will include a four-storey car park for 487 cars, a full recreational floor that exceeds 40,000 square metres with two gyms, three swimming pools, jacuzzi, sauna, children’s playground, picnic area, jogging track, waterfalls and business centre.
The contractor for the project will be announced soon.
Established in 2001, Era Projects is planning three more projects next year.
