Boris Becker served an ace when he officially opened the new Riffa Views Golf and Leisure Shop located in the Country Mall on the Budaiya Highway.
He also launched the Riffa Views' Golf Simulator by driving a ball down a virtual fairway before browsing through the store which has a contemporary design that complements the luxury lifestyle of Riffa Views Signature Estates.
The new retail outlet showcases a diverse mix of golf and leisure equipment which includes the quality Riffa Views' signature golf clothing range and the Boris Becker range of tennis racquets, tennis holdalls and racquet bags.
Riffa Views' CEO, Richard Browning, said: "We are excited to celebrate the opening of the shop and Boris being here has added another dimension to the event, just as he is adding to the momentum of tennis in Bahrain as part of his role as the Riffa Views' International Ambassador."
Becker added: "I'm excited to be back in Bahrain and see the remarkable progress Riffa Views has made. The opening of the shop highlights yet another milestone being achieved.
"The focus of my visit will be overseeing how the plans of Riffa Views' Tennis Facility are progressing and helping to raise the profile of tennis in the kingdom.
"I am also looking forward to seeing some fantastic tennis during the final of the 'Riffa Views Tennis Cup'."
The store stocks a comprehensive range of top-of-the-line golf equipment, clothing and accessories from premium quality brands.
Customers can "try before they buy" by testing putters on the mini indoor putting green or playing a shot with an iron or driver on the golf simulator.
The machine boasts a selection of 40 of the world's greatest golf courses and visitors can experience first hand what the new Riffa Views' Montgomerie-designed 18-hole Signature Championship Golf Course will be like.
