Garam jalebi (hot, deep fried dessert)

Ingredients

Flour 200gm

Gram flour 10gm

Sweet soda powder1gm

Water 200ml

Oil 2ltr

For sugar syrup:

Sugar 1kg

Water 0.5kg

Ghee 30gm

Saffron one pinch

Procedure:

Add sugar, saffron and ghee to the water and bring to boil.

Preparation:

In a pan, add the flour, gram flour, sweet soda and water and mix the ingredients to a thick paste.

Pour this mixture onto a clean cloth.

Make a small hole so as to squeeze out the mixture.

Separately, on a deep, frying pan, heat the oil. Pour the batter in circles on the oil.

Once fried, remove it with a strainer and place it in the sugar syrup for four-five minutes.

Serve hot.
