BAHRAIN'S Kia distributor A. A. Bin Hindi - the fleet wing of the A. A. Bin Hindi Group's Kia division - is celebrating this week after securing a record order of 50 Kia Carnivals from Avis rent-a-car.
The car rental company is expanding its fleet business and was impressed with the model and the service offered.
"While we are extremely delighted to have Avis as one of our esteemed customers, the deal is the perfect example of a 'win-win' situation. To suffice it, it's a huge success for Kia as well as Avis," said Mohammed Bin Hindi, general manager, Kia Motors and chief marketing officer Bin Hindi Group .
"This partnership will allow Avis to offer cost effective and value for money leasing solutions to fleet and corporate customers."
Although fleet and corporate customers are able to negotiate on prices by purchasing a high volume of vehicles, they also insist on quality parts and service as part of the package.
Mohammed Haqiqi, Kia fleet and corporate sales manager, believes that is where the company scored highly against the opposition.
He explained: "We always strive for them to choose the right fleet cars for their companies. Fleet operators need to operate efficiently and cost-effectively and our parts and service network maintain our commitment to them by responding to their needs with prompt and personal support."
Mr G Rodrigues, head of Avis rent-a-car, said that he was "extremely delighted" with the new partnership forged and said that the Bin Hindi Group offered "tailor-made deals" that suited its requirements precisely. All cars are covered by a five-year unlimited mileage warranty.
