Juffair is located in an area that used to be sea, but has extensively been reclaimed since 1970.

It is now home to many hotels and restaurants, flats and villas. In fact, Juffair is built on a massive land reclamation scheme which has extended Bahrain's coastline by two kilometers to the east.

The name, Juffair, originated from a British warship (HMS Juffair) that visited Bahrain a few decades ago, and docked in the area which is now one of the hottest property spots on the island.

The once unoccupied land soon began to flourish and became a popular location filled with frenetic building activity and new apartment buildings and hotels constructed each year.

Most of those who live in the area are established foreigners or upwardly mobile young Bahrainis. Juffair also features Bahrain's largest mosque, the domed Al Fateh Mosque, and the new National Library.

This fast-paced area has a variety of attractions, schools and societies including the offices of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Bahrain Society of Engineers, Bahrain School and the Modern Knowledge School.

The new commercial road, Al Shabab Road, in Juffair, houses many restaurants and retail outlets, such as McDonald's, Chilli's, Nando's, Asian Zyng, Dairy Queen, Hardees', Starbuck's, Abraj Grills and Burger King.

The area also has its own shopping centre called Al Murjan Center that has a large supermarket, a restaurant, post office and coffee shop.

Juffair is one area in Bahrain that never seems to sleep. Always on the go with new developments and projects, Juffair offers quality living filled with ongoing excitement.

Located near Bahrain Specialist Hospital is a beautiful three-storey villa with a lovely sea view available for rent.

The villa is a blend of Arabesque and modern Pueblo design made up of massive round-edged walls, deep windows and door openings, large Moroccan-style doors and a fireplace.

Behind the wooden door lies another enormous Moroccan-style door, a brick pathway and plants laid out on both sides leading to a the spacious double garage.

The interior of the villa is fresh, modern and chic with the latest trends standing out. With white being the core colour throughout, the hanging chandeliers, fabrics and blinds, abstract paintings and futuristic electronics really gives the villa a lot of pizzazz.

The reception and dining room are both spacious with a view of the swimming pool that is shared with three other connected villas. You can access the pool from the garage or the sliding doors in the reception area. The fireplace is another wonderful addition where you can cozy up to an intimate fire on your chic L-shaped couch and watch your favourite DVD movie on your sleek plasma screen.

The ground floor also features a customised colour-co-ordinated, open plan kitchen with a breakfast bar and state-of-the-art appliances. There is also a guest bathroom with room for a washer and dryer.

Although the ground floor is not carpeted, the stairway and second floor is. Stained glass and paintings can be found along the walls of the stairway, not one wall seems bare. The master bedroom comes fully furnished with a big screen TV, fitted closest and stylish bathroom.

The other two bedrooms are generous in size with fitted closets, TV spots and share a separate bathroom. A terrace connects both bedrooms allowing a view of the pool. The third floor leads to the roof. For easy communication throughout the villa, there is an intercom on the ground floor and second floor.

Restaurants and shops are only a five-minute drive from the villa, which is also situated in a calm and quiet neighbourhood.
