The UK TV programme, 'Location, Location, Location', recently named Edinburgh as the top place to live in the UK.

The presenters of the show scored Edinburgh highly in all six of their categories where they judged each city based on features such as house prices, crime statistics, architecture, amenities and public transport.

Edinburgh was favoured for its high concentration of museums and galleries and the vast number of buildings of historical and architectural interest in the city. Its sheer beauty and lifestyle also contributed to the city coming out on top.

With only 1.9 per cent of the population receiving job seekers benefits, it also means that Edinburgh has a high percentage of workers in highly-paid professional occupations.

Although house prices are a little on the pricey side, with the average Edinburgh home priced at over £200,000 (BD150,000), it is still half the price of London... not bad for a capital city.

Home to the world famous Edinburgh Castle, an abundance of greenery, a thriving university, and many comedy and cultural festivals, Edinburgh has been rated as an excellent city in which to live and invest.

The city has a variety of attractions including Edinburgh Castle, The Royal Botanic Gardens, Edinburgh Zoo, The Palace of Holyroodhouse and three national galleries. The city also has a growing reputation as a premier retail destination and offers a wide variety of fantastic nightspots and restaurants.

If you wish to escape the hustle and bustle of the city centre, Scotland offers 147 parks and gardens to explore. In addition, Edinburgh is situated within close proximity of the beautiful beaches and countryside of the Lothians.

At the moment, Princes Place not only offers cost-effective living, but is also only 15 minutes walking distance from the O'Mally Centre nearby Broughton Street which features many shops, cinemas and restaurants.

Princes Place offers a selection of 25 stylish two-bedroom apartments, a concierge, fitness centre and secure underground parking. The living area is equipped with chrome effect furniture, central heating and hot water provided by a combination boiler. The sitting room is spacious with a Sky Plus outlet, which also extends to the luxurious master bedroom.

The master bedroom has a fitted wardrobe and an en suite bathroom with an electric thermostatic shower. The kitchen is fitted with colour co-ordinated units, worktop and appliances. The hi-tech kitchen also features a stainless steel single electric oven, with stainless steel gas/electric hob, chimney hood, free standing washer-dryer plus inset bowl and drainer with tap.

Travelling is also convenient as Princes Place is just six miles from Edinburgh International Airport and under a mile from Edinburgh Waverly Train Station. Home owners will also be able to get 15 per cent rental return on their purchase price over two years.

Princes Place emphasises secure, leisure living, an investment for any family or young entrepreneur building a life for themselves.
