Investors in Bahrain are being offered the chance to own a unique 'water chalet' within a hotel complex in the desirable area of Port Dickson in Malaysia.

Each fully-furnished water home has its own private swimming pool and open air garden poised above the sea in the Malacca Straits. The Legend International Water Homes received the CNBC 2007 International Property Awards for 'Best Architecture' and 'Best Development'.

"The development is a great investment proposition aimed at the growing tourist market from the Middle East, Europe, Hong Kong, China, the Philippines and Singapore," said a spokesman for Kuala Lumpur Real Estates.

"The water chalets and villas in this spectacular development are designed to optimise pleasure and they represent the ultimate in luxury beach-front living."

The resort will be managed by The Legend Group of Hotels and Resorts, an established hotel operator in Malaysia since 1994.

The developer, KL Metro has an excellent track record and an enviable reputation for early project completion; Phase 1 of the Legend International Water Homes was completed five months ahead of schedule.

Further details will be released at Property Arabia today.
