THE heat is on and electronics giant Samsung has launched a new range of state-of-the-art air conditioners in Bahrain to keep homes and businesses in the kingdom's cool zone. The range includes the Mont Blanc stylish air conditioner, as well as the Samsung V-series and F-series.
According to Sang Yoon Kim, director of the home appliances division at Samsung Gulf Electronics, the introduction of the new ranges signifies a breakthrough in the air-conditioning industry as it effectively combines cost-saving, outstanding performance and improved quality of life.
Mr Kim said: "Samsung Electronics has always taken aggressive steps in providing exceptional heating and cooling solutions worldwide, and today we have surpassed anything on the market with the new ranges of spilt type air conditioner that not only provide cool fresh air, but actually improves the quality of the air you breathe."
He believes the new air conditioners are "masterpieces" that merge design with health maintenance.
The new Mont Blanc air conditioner not only provides cooling comfort but also cleans the air of contaminates without compromising its design that completes your lifestyle.
It also comes with a host of features such as the 'EZ Filter', an easy to remove, clean, and replace filter that keeps dust and impurities from entering the unit to ensure continuous clean air. The models are also equipped with a new sophisticated filter utilising DNA's unique structure which selectively screens out microscopic carcinogenic agents (cancer-causing substances especially PAHs) and harmful hormones in the environment.
The V-series range delivers the world's first air-conditioners that fight SARS, bird-flu and second infections. The Samsung patented Micro Plasma Ion (MPI), embedded in the V- Series generates active hydrogen atoms which combine with oxygen ions to strongly purify the air by decomposing viruses, bacteria and allergens.
The F-series is a simple and elegant air conditioner that features the Samsung Multi-Step Air Purification System which removes almost all harmful elements by using a wide array of filters such as the silver-coated pre-filter and silver-coated evaporator.
For the Middle East & African region, the Samsung air conditioners are further equipped with the UTR Compressor Plus (Ultra Tropical Rotary Compressor Plus) which is a complete trouble-solving broker in unbearably sultry areas. The range is now available across Bahrain.
