THE Camelot restaurant, better known as Jim's castle, has launched its new and improved menu for the summer season.
Head Chef Dheeraj Pal Singh is dishing up traditional favourites such as fish and chips, Shepherd's Pie and the ever-popular weekly special Farmhouse Breakfast.
"Alongside menu mainstays like the succulent fillet and T-bone steaks, there are light pasta selections and we are boosting the seafood selection by introducing new main courses from fresh local hamour to proper cod and from lovely red snapper to swordfish with a variety of sauce options," explained new Seven Leisure Group F&B manager Michel Abou-Assaly.
The new dinner menu offers 10 choices of entrees from cold to hot including new offerings such as Crab Rangoon, Chicken Satay and Smoked Salmon Rolls.
There are also more than half a dozen appealing salads which include the new Oriental Akram Salad, Warm Rocket Salad, and the chef's Exotic Salad with papaya and pomegranate.
Hot appetisers include a variety of soups such as Broccoli & Spinach as well as the Low Fat Veggie Soup, a combination of V8 vegetables all in a 'light and cheerful concoction'.
"Camelot will be the place where you can share delicious finger foods and appetizers, and have tropical and exotic cocktails to freshen up your summer in the lounge area or in the 'fishtank' as I like to call it. Come as couples or groups of friends and share our generous combo mixes," said Bahrain's legendary restaurateur Jim Lawless.
Camelot Jim's Castle is located on Shaikh Isa Avenue in Adliya across from Upstairs Downstairs and next to CafŽ Italia.
Open daily from 6pm. Late English breakfast, business lunch and family gatherings are served Thursdays and Fridays from noon.
