Wednesday (Aug 13)New Series - Burn Notice on America Plus at 8pm.

Most people would be thrilled to be on the warm, beautiful sands of South Beach. But Michael Western (Jeffrey Donovan) is not 'most people'. He's got a pesky FBI tail, a violence-prone ex-girlfriend looking for closure and a hypochondriac mother calling him 30 times a day. Yet these are the least of his problems.

While in the middle of a dangerous mission in Nigeria a covert operative receives a burn notice, which is effectively a death sentence for a spy.

Ice Cube stars as Nick, a playboy bachelor who's trying to land a date with a young, attractive divorcee, Suzanne (Nia Long). The problem is, Suzanne is stuck working in Vancouver over New Year's and miserable because she misses her kids. Seizing the opportunity, Nick offers to drive the kids from Portland to be reunited with their mom. What Nick doesn't know is that Suzanne's children think no man is good enough for their mom and will do everything they can to make the trip a nightmare for him.

Justin Tolchuck is a sensitive 16-year-old just trying to make it through the social nightmare of high school in Medora, Wisconsin, with the help of his mom, Franny, dad, Gary, and popular younger sister, Claire. Justin is pretty much resigned to the fact that he'll never be one of the cool kids. Franny, however, has come up with a plan to help Justin: signing up for the school's international exchange student programme. However, when the Tolchucks' exchange student arrives, he turns out to be Raja Musharraf, a 16-year-old Pakistani Muslim.

Film - The Sentinel on Star Movies at 8.30pm.

Well-liked and respected by his colleagues in the Secret Service, Pete Garrison (Michael Douglas), is an agent charged with protecting the First Lady (Kim Basinger). He also has to keep the world from knowing about his affair with the President's wife. When Garrison is framed for the murder of a fellow agent, he is relieved of his duties. Determined to find the real killer, and protect the President from harm, Garrison goes on the run.

MONDAY (Aug 18)

Documentary - Food Lover's Guide to the Planet: Cow Cuisine on NGC at 11pm.

Travel to southwest Tuscany to learn about Maremmane cows, above. Their full-flavoured meat inspires a local specialty: Bollito. Then in Morocco, learn how the Berber people follow a centuries-old method for making Beldi butter. At JD Country Milk in Kentucky, Willis Shrock makes sweet, creamy milk the old-fashioned way. And you'll only find pasture-raised, organic meat in Fleisher's Grass-fed and Organic Meats in New York.

TUESDAY (Aug 19)

Film - The Man in the Iron Mask on Star Movies at 8.30pm.

With a cry of "All for one and one for all!" the Musketeers return to correct the injustices perpetrated by spoiled monarch Louis XIV (DiCaprio), whose misdeeds include imprisoning his twin brother on an island and encasing his face in the titular mask. But they soon realise their mission may lead to the destruction of the very throne they serve.
