The Gulf Insurance Institute (GII) officially inaugurated its new Bahrain headquarters this week under the patronage of the Minister of Labour.
The board of directors and invited special guests attended the official opening of its premises in Amwaj Islands. An evening celebration reception was held at the Ritz-Carlton Bahrain Hotel and Spa's tent 'Al Khayma'.
GII chairman Qassim Fakhroo said:_"We are proud to be launching the GII headquarters in Bahrain, and look forward to developing the Gulf's human capital to build the region's insurance and risk management industry."
GII is a leading centre of excellence which provides learning, and sustainable career development and rewards achievements for professionals engaged in conventional and Islamic insurance practices and risk management and for those starting a career in this expanding sector.
The institute will serve as a regional hub for conventional insurance and Islamic insurance (Takaful) learning; as well as ancillary financial services.
