Film - Die Hard 4.0 on Star Movies at 8.30pm.

When a security breach occurs in the FBI's database, John McClane is dispatched to bring in Matthew Farrell, a known computer hacker, for questioning. Although it seems like a routine job, the two soon find themselves under attack from a group of gun-toting assassins. As they discover, Matt has unwittingly helped a group of cyber terrorists. Led by a former government employee, the group has launched an attack on the country's computer infrastructure. As McClane tries to track down the evildoers, his job becomes even more complicated when his daughter, Lucy, is taken hostage by the group's crazed leader.

Film - Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer on Star Movies at 8.30pm.

This is a sequel to the 2005 blockbuster. Now in control of their powers, the four superheroes have returned to leading normal lives. While Reed Richards and Sue Storm are about to tie the knot, the rock-like Ben Grimm has settled down with his girlfriend and the fiery Johnny Storm has become one of New York's most eligible bachelors. But when the alien Silver Surfer arrives on Earth and quickly starts wreaking havoc around the globe, the Four learn they're not the only ones with super powers.

Following a hurtful divorce, a female journalist takes a solitary holiday to rebuild her self-esteem and boost her determination never to be vulnerable again. However, she soon has a change of heart when, during a walk along the seashore, she discovers a mysterious message-in-a bottle that houses a passionate love letter signed simply 'G'. Moved by the letter's poetry and heart-wrenching romanticism, she embarks on a journey to find 'G' and ultimately the restoration of her own broken faith in the promise of love.

SATURDAY (Jan 3)

Film - Bulletproof on Fox Movies at 10pm.

Small time crook Archie Moses considers Rock Keats his best buddy, until Moses graciously brings Keats on a big-time drug score and is horrified to discover that his trusted friend is actually an undercover cop. When a gunfight breaks out, Keats is accidentally shot in the head by Moses in the ensuing melee. After recovering, Keats returns to work only to find that his first assignment is to escort his ex-best friend back home from Arizona, so Moses can turn state's evidence against the ruthless drug king pin he was working for. They soon discover that there's a mole revealing their every move and that they are neither safe from the police, the FBI nor the drug thugs hot on their trail.

Film - Bad Boys 2 on Fox Movies at 10pm.

Miami narcotics detectives Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett become part of a high-tech task force assigned to stem the flood of designer ecstasy into Miami. They unwittingly uncover a deadly conspiracy involving a ruthless drug lord who is determined to expand his empire and take control of the city's burgeoning narcotics trade, killing anyone who stands in his way. To make matters worse, Marcus's beautiful sister Syd, an undercover DEA agent, gets caught in the crossfire, forcing our heroes to the edge of the law.

MONDAY (Jan 5)

Film - Shine on Fox Movies at 10pm.

A man in his 40s, David, stumbles into a wine bar after getting lost one night in driving rain. Although he is wildly eccentric, David charms the bar's owner who, impressed with his brilliant skills as a pianist, gives him a regular job playing at her bar. David's impromptu performance is, in fact, the first time he has been at a piano after more than a decade of obscurity. Inspired by this, he is transported back to his childhood. Based on the ultimately triumphant life of classical pianist David Helfgott, Shine focuses on Helfgott's painful retreat into a private world while still in his early 20s and on the brink of a glittering international career.

TUESDAY (Jan 6)

Film - The Shaggy Dog on Star Movies at 8.30pm.

Dave Douglas is a deputy district attorney who spends way too much time at the office and way too little time with his family. His son, Joe, feels completely misunderstood, and his wife, Rachel, feels like a single parent. To make matters worse, his teenage daughter, Carly, considers Douglas the enemy because he is representing a pharmaceutical company in their case against her social studies teacher. Douglas' life changes in an instant when Carly brings home a friendly pooch that bites the dog-disliking DA.
