The property market in Bahrain has recently shown signs of slowing down which could open up more opportunities for investors.

Although there are many residential developments to look into, areas such as Saar and Juffair are still considered property hot spots for investors and families starting out.

Situated behind Saar Cinema and the University College of Bahrain, is a contemporary-style home ideal for a large family.

The five bedroom villa is securely gated in a small, close-knit community where children can ride their bikes safely in the streets.

Although the home may appear small on the outside it's far from that within. The ground floor features a cosy lounge area, grand living and dining room and a vanity area with guest bathroom. These rooms are laid out with marble and topped off with fine finishings.

Large windows surround the home allowing for plenty of natural light. Spot lighting and hanging chandeliers also create a romantic ambience. The highlight of the modern home is the customised kitchen and breakfast bar which opens into the television room.

The kitchen and bar was designed by the home owner herself. Granite countertops, solid wood cabinets and an island unit add touches of class and functionality to the fully-fitted kitchen. The television room features solid wood flooring and sliding doors offering access to the private pool and patio in the back.

The first floor is fully carpeted and features five bedrooms, a bathroom and storage room. The two guest bedrooms boast en suite bathrooms with tubs, built-in wardrobe and small terraces. The other two sizeable bedrooms also feature built-in wardrobes and share a bathroom with standing shower. The master bedroom is quite spacious and includes an en suite bathroom and built-in wardrobe.

The maid's quarter and laundry room are located on the second floor.

The exterior of the villa is completely tiled except for the two flower beds in the front. There is also a driver's room outside and a large shaded car park with enough room to fit two cars.
