FRIDAY (Feb 27)

Todd Anderson manages a customer call-centre for American novelty products in Seattle. That is until his job - and his entire office - are outsourced to India. Todd must now travel to India to train his replacement. He arrives in Bombay and experiences cross-cultural conflicts as he tries to teach his new colleagues about the American way of life. It is through his team of quirky yet likable Indian workers that Todd realises that he too has a lot to learn - not only about India, America and himself, but that being outsourced may be the best thing that happened to him.

The signature comic style of the late, great Bernie Mac comes to the fore in this knockout comedy. Mac stars as Stan Ross a man who, smack in the middle of his retirement, gets a wake-up call that forces him to start all over again. Ten years ago, Ross was a pro baseball player blessed with one of the sweetest swings - and the worst attitude - in the league. Quitting the game after he his 3,000th hit, Ross began a 'Mr 3000' shopping empire. But now, just as Ross is about to be voted into the Hall of Fame, it's discovered that his total is actually three short of the landmark number. Ross has only one choice: get up off the couch, pick up his bat and rejoin the Milwaukee Brewers for the most unlikely comeback sport has ever seen.

Set in 1940s' post-war Berlin, Jake Geismer is an American military journalist returning to Berlin for the Potsdam Peace Conference. His driver, Tully, seems to be just that, a driver, but is in fact a big player in Berlin's underworld and is dating Jake's ex, Lena. When Tully is killed and his body washes up on shore, Jake is stunned to discover that no one wants the news to get out. Before long Jake is risking everything to help Lena flee the country.

After his death it doesn't take the Mafia and the FBI long to realise that Mark knows more than he's saying. When Mark decides he needs a lawyer he finds Reggie Love who doesn't take long to come to the same conclusion as the FBI and Mafia but Mark isn't talking...
